ABOUT CAROLYN
Carolyn was born in Toronto and was raised in Kingston, Ontario until the age of 4 when she moved back to Toronto, growing up in East York and then the Beach. She currently lives in the Upper Beach with her family.
Carolyn graduated in 1985 from Centennial College in Book Editing & Design.
Her relationship with Royal LePage began more than 25 years ago, when during her last year at college she was hired as a manuals writer. The first contract she worked on was for Royal Trust in 1985. Royal Trust and A.E. LePage had just merged their real estate brokerage and fee businesses in 1984, naming the new company Royal LePage. Carolyn was hired as part of an editorial team to co-write and edit the Royal Trust and Royal LePage mortgage training manuals. This sparked her interest in mortgages and financing and played a very large part in her motivation for obtaining her real estate license in July of 1986.
Carolyn’s experience on this editorial team as well as her past experiences working in Banking and Securities, are valuable resources today which enable her to assist her clients.
Carolyn has also worked in the Toronto Fashion and Canadian & American Film & Television industries. You can spot her in such major motion pictures as Cocktail, Sing, Stella and Freakshow. You can also catch a glimpse of her in re-runs of 9-B, Night Heat, Street Legal and other series filmed in and around Toronto. Her most memorable celebrity moment? Meeting and working on set with Tom Cruise. Other celebrity encounters include John Travolta, Emelio Estevez, Brian Brown, Gina Gershon, Kris Kristoferson, Tommy Chong, Beverly D’Angelo, Max Webster, Pointer Sisters & the Bay City Rollers to name a few.
Carolyn Kustec is now a successful FULL TIME REALTOR. She acquired her Real Estate license in 1986. In 1996 she became a member of Better Homes & Gardens’ Million Dollar club and in 1997 Prudential’s Million Dollar club. Carolyn became a member of Prudential’s Multi-Million Dollar Club in 1999. Carolyn is also an upstanding member of the Toronto Real Estate Board, Ontario Real Estate Association and Canadian Real Estate Association. She is proud to be a Sales Representative with Royal LePage Estate Realty Brokerage.
When Carolyn isn’t selling real estate, she runs a successful landscape/waterscape construction company with her husband, Running Waters Landscapes Inc. www.runningwaterslandscapes.ca. Her favourite things to do? Spend time with her family, travel, figure skate or roller blade, surf the net and relax while reading a book or watching a good movie. She also LOVES spending time at her family farm.
